Hi. I have four shelties: two girls and two boys. One of our girls has earned a CD title from the AKC and the other girl we plan to show in confirmation. The two boys and the older girl have all been shown in a lot of 4-H shows, and they do marvelously well. These dogs are the greatest!

I recently read that you have to be cautious about giving collies and decendants of the collie breed ie:shelties heartworm prevenatives. I was just wondering if anyone knew why?? It never said and I can't find any information about it on the net. Thanks

Gobble their food? lol what do you feed yours? Mine is so picky he won't touch dog food and I never fed him scraps before dog food. He's very spoiled. Is yours real shy too?

Okay,So,the dogs can be very different,that's what I get from your messages.But my dog,Lady Kayla,is little angel.She's normally quiet,but if she wants out,or wants food,or wants to play,or pretty much any thing else,she becomes a howling machine!

You guys have got to tell me what you're feeding your shelties lol. Maybe mine will like it also. He's also very shy...I'm not sure if it's from the person I got him from or what. He's always been that way though. Any suggestions?
